The whole enchilada

I felt like being daring and upgrading the wordpress installation to the latest version. (just press the button it’s not rocket science!) Sunny Breaks had been using the very old 2.01, a technological laggard more’s the pity, but the last attempt at a big upgrade resulted in flipping out the HostCentral server. Let’s hope it doesn’t happen again.
Also the theme, or ‘look’ if you will. Cutprice is not just a theme, it’s a platform. Also, they rent trucks. It will be modified to look a little less mundane in the near future. We’re even intending to reopen comments—after about five or six years of not caring what you think.
Lastly, note the “tags”. This is a clever device THEMAN has invented to get The Kids to do their own indexing.

*Update:* Comments n’ pings are now enabled. Comment til ur little hearts are content. Comment til you can comment no more. Comment like it’s going out of style.

  1. I. I am the first. I am the last. I am all that is and all that shall be.

  2. How is it that I ALWAYS get my way on the internet? First (ca. 2006), I ask rusty to correct my story typos, he corrects them. I ask (ca. 2007) for longer comment subject-headings, rusty makes longer subject headings. Now, in 2008, I issue my DEMAND for SB comments, and SB comments are allowed. Damn, I have godlike powers…(nevermind that bit about archive-search and cancel button not working, I work in mysterious ways).

  3. Dude, it’s not you it’s me.
I am a comment addict. I used to have comments, many years ago, but it was all consuming. I could get 70 comments and still not be satisfied. I was writing things just to be popular. There was noting for it but to shut it off.

However, if you do have some sway over that imbecile foster, then tell him to null my former accounts.

  4. Comrade YS, I will lodge a request with the Party chairman on your behalf as soon as I can figure out a persuasive angle in which to do so . Also, about excessive comment-whoring, I have only one thing to say–everything is propaganda. That, and it’s impossible to gauge the whys and wherefores of e-socieities.
