Talking with a buddy I used to share a house with on the telling-bone last night. They had to move out recently. The landlord (as in “We are a little worried about the landlord”) thinks it’s a really nice bit of dirt and the house is getting in the way. This is in Northcote – the south bit aka Westgarth – right near the shops + cinema. We had some wacky times in that house. Some friends lived ten or so numbers further down the street – it was a bigger house and that was sold too – and went for half a million. Ay carumba. Anyway, my mate GG has moved further out – preston. It’s nice to know that I’m not the only person in the universe who doesn’t currently own a VCR.
There’s an airshow down this way this weekend and as a result there’s been hunks of metal tearing holes in the sky the last day or two. As far as I’m concerned it’s not a real airshow until two hunks of metal collide or one hunk finds the ground –much quicker than normal. Why the hell can’t they put an em dash in HTML special characters? I’ve started using google as a spell-checker. It works pretty good, particular with people’s names – that kind of thing.
I was just listening to some Jackson 5 and I realised that my head has decided to save me from troubling misconnections of past and present by substituting the image of gary coleman over the spot where the young michael jackson used to be. It just makes sense – coleman has never changed. I’ve purposefully not paid any attention to these freakazoid tv shows about jackson, but if he’s volunteering to do interviews with them then he must really be fucked up.
I used to do the google spellcheck technique untill I found spellonline.com. The site will even check your HTML and not highlight your tags as errors. Pretty nifty!

That’s so bizarre about the Gary Coleman/MJ thing. You’re a strange man, Vulcan Conray.

Hmm, an handy site that Jem. The thing I like about google is that it’s right here on the Opera address bar – no click-thru needed.
And, I’ll take subtle as a compliment, Doctor Fabulous.
